Nei Ito (China) Born in Koushu, China, Nei is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese. After graduating from the music department at Fujian Teaching University, she studied and received her masters in Dance at Tokyo Gakugei Univeristy. While a student in Tokyo, she began her singing career as an exclusive singer for a venue affiliated with legendary musician Koga Masao. There, her warm and translucent singing style received much praise from traditional Japanese music aficionados. Her reputation as the Chinese singer who could sing about the heart of Japan led her to perform in front of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, where she performed classics such as "Sakura" and "Hana." Nei continues to be active in the international and music communities in Japan.
